  Abstract :

BLAST and ClustalW are the most well-known tools in bioinformatics for multiple sequence alignment (MSA). However, MSA services for biologists are not well organized. In this paper, we propose a web-based MSA system on a high performance PC-based computing cloud. It provides biologists with most procedures of MSA including experimental design, processing, editing, and reuse after authentication. Furthermore, it utilizes 16 PCs for high-speed processing and shows real-time monitoring services for user jobs.
