Abstract |

Knowledge in multiple categories is needed in programming exercise. If we want to provide educational guidance for a student, we need to identify the student weak category. In this paper, we propose a method to evaluate the student comprehensions of programming. This method makes the multiple check items for the exercise assignment. Each check item is associated in programming ability. The check items are grouped according to each category corresponding to multiple assignments. The student programming comprehensions are evaluated to make a comparison between odds of correct answer and answer results.
We have applied this method to 192 students. We have evaluated three categories of the student programming comprehensions for programming ability. In the result, there are many correlations between odds of correct answer and answer results in weekly. |
